Marina is a Senior Counsel with over 30 years of experience. She focuses on dispute resolution of civil and commercial matters as well as investigations, including those with cross-border angles across a broad spectrum of industry sectors in Asia.

Eddee has been described by Chambers and Partners as ”a very experienced litigator and insolvency lawyer. With extensive experience representing international clients, Eddee has handled a broad range of corporate and commercial litigation matters. He has also been involved in some of Singapore’s most significant cross-border insolvency and restructuring cases.

Christopher brings to TKQP a wealth of experience and repute in the highly specialized field of insurance litigation. His varied practice runs the gamut of contentious insurance work, and he is highly sought after for his advice in relation to complex and high-value claims, involving various classes of insurance such as motor insurance, work injury compensation,professional indemnity, performance bonds and guarantees, public liability insurance and contractors’ all risks. He has also represented and defended criminal proceedings under the Road Traffic Act, amongst others.

With 25 years of dispute resolution experience, Christopher has represented several of Singapore and Malaysia’s largest insurers in some
of the most highly-publicized matters that have come before the Singapore courts.

Christopher works closely with investigators, surveyors, specialist medical experts, forensic accident reconstruction experts and accountants, and regularly appears before all levels of the Singapore courts.

Karam practises civil and commercial litigation. While a significant part of his area of practice involves building and construction law, the nature of the commercial disputes that he handles is diverse and covers a wide area of the law.

On the non-contentious front, Karam regularly advises clients on legal and regulatory issues, and on documentation such as bonds, letters of intent, guarantees, warranties, indemnities, deeds of assignment,insurance policies, the various types of construction and consultancy agreements, public-private partnership agreements, data protection documentation and numerous types of commercial contracts. The contentious side of Karam’s practice regularly sees him appearing in the courts of law, before arbitral tribunals or in adjudications. Karam is also active in promoting non-confrontational dispute resolution procedures where he negotiates settlements on behalf of clients and/or represents them in mediations.

Keith is an experienced disputes and insolvency lawyer who has assisted clients in a wide range of civil and commercial matters across various industry sectors. Keith was listed in 2022 as a Rising Star – Singapore by Asian Legal Business. In 2020, he was recognised in The Legal 500, Asia Pacific as “an emerging talent” and “an outstanding lawyer who is very knowledgeable, analytical and commercial”.

Described as “very thorough, efficient, dedicated, and a star of the future” (The Legal 500 Asia Pacific, 2019), Alcina has experience in various commercial and private client disputes covering a wide spectrum of industry sectors including hospitality, employment, and banking.

Commercial dispute resolution is Lijie’s main area of practice. In particular, he has acted in a range of contentious infrastructure, construction and real estate matters.

To complement his disputes practice, Lijie has picked up conveyancing and developed a real estate practice. With his disputes background, Lijie is able to and has acted in conveyances involving construction delays, building defects, vexatious caveats, encroachments and other contentious matters.

Qianyu specialises in high-value commercial litigation and international arbitration disputes, and is experienced in dealing with cross-border matters. Her other main area of practice is restructuring & insolvency, where she regularly advises and acts for liquidators, judicial managers, independent financial advisors, creditors and institutional lenders.

Qianyu was the youngest to be recognised by the Singapore Business Review as one of Singapore’s Most Influential Lawyers Under 40 (2023).

Huai Pin commenced her training as a practice trainee in TKQP before joining as an Associate with the insurance litigation department.

During her time in TKQP, she regularly represents and advises insurers on most classes of insurance, ranging from professional
indemnity, contractor’s all-risks, public liability, work injury compensation, motor insurance and performance bonds.

Guo Wei specialises in high-value, cross-border litigation and arbitration, handling contractual and shareholder disputes across industries, including energy, shipping and retail. Guo Wei is also regularly instructed on banking matters that involve disputes over complex financial products and bank negligence.

Rachel commenced her legal career in TKQP and has significant experience in commercial litigation, arbitration, and restructuring and insolvency.

Rachel is uniquely positioned to serve her clients. Apart from her varied experience in the private sector, she has also advised and represented various Government ministries in public law and contentious matters in her time as a State Counsel in the Attorney-General’s Chambers.

Su Ean’s diverse practice in real estate transactions includes the sale and purchase of buildings by corporations, the purchase of state/government land parcels, acting for management corporations and handling retail property transactions which involve acting for the CPF Board in the members’ withdrawal of monies in connection with the property purchase.

Su Ean has conducted property due diligence and handled advisory work and applications to government and statutory authorities on stamp duty and approvals for subleasing and subdivision. She has represented foreign corporations in the purchase and financing of investment property in Singapore.
